Ted’s Café Escondido is currently remodeling its South Oklahoma City location and has announced a grand re-opening event to celebrate the recent changes on Monday, March 2 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Ted’s south Oklahoma City location, which is located at 8324 S. Western Avenue, was the third Ted’s location and opened in June 2004.
“Over the past few years, we’ve recognized the need to update the look and feel of our restaurants to not only have a more modern feel, but also to keep in line with our guests and their expectations,” said David Foxx, chief operations officer for Ted’s. “We had such a wonderful response to our recent remodel in Edmond, and we want to eventually carry that same look and feel to all of our other restaurants. Since the south Oklahoma City was our third location opened, it made a lot of sense for us to come here next and share our new look with our loyal guests.”
The remodel began in early January, and will continue up until the grand re-opening event. All construction activities have taken place overnight to allow the restaurant to stay open and continue serving its guests.
The restaurant will host its grand re-opening event on March 2 with a ribbon cutting courtesy of the South Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce at 4 p.m., which will include door prizes and free chips, salsa and cheese sauce for all who attend. Later that evening, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the grand re-opening event will continue, with flash giveaways every hour, free kids meals for all children 12 and under, and each guest receiving a $5 off $25 purchase offer for future visits.
“We appreciate our guests and their patience throughout the remodel process, and we enjoyed hearing from those who have come in throughout the remodel to watch the changes as they happened,” Foxx said. “This event is a fun way to not only reward our guests, but also remind them that our success truly is all due to their loyalty and passion for great Mexican food.”
